Manager's Amendment Leach/LaFalce Lazio/Frank     Cross Section Makes technical changes and revisions to the bill as agreed to by the Majority and Minority Banking Staff and HUD.
1 Velazquez P. 38 Line 10 New Section 313 If a sec. 202 application for assistance was denied by HUD due to failure to provide information under the control of a third party, the applicant may have the opportunity to show that the failure to provide information was the fault of a third party--in this case, the application cannot be denied on the grounds of failure to provide such information.
2 Schakowsky P. 44 Line 17 Section 325 Expands existing study in Bill regarding the number of units in sec. 811 projects to sec. 202 projects as well.
3 Campbell P. 100 Line 13 New Section 410 Authorizes funding for nonprofit organizations seeking to purchase, improve and preserve affordable federally assisted and/or insured housing for the benefit of low-income tenants.
4 Capuano       Provides that HUD Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) scores of assisted housing projects are for advisory purposes only for this year.
